Set in the heart of the Weald of Kent in a beautiful idyllic village The Bull at Benenden is a very popular award winning public house and restaurant.
Dating back to 1601 The Bull sits on the edge of Benenden’s village green and is only a short drive from some of the most beautiful attractions in Kent, such as Bodiam Castle, Sissinghurst Castle and Leeds Castle. It’s the ideal retreat to sit back, relax and enjoy real ales, fine wines, good food and often live entertainment.
Enjoy a traditional pub menu with home cooked food, sourced from local suppliers. Choose from steak and kidney pudding, fresh cod in beer batter and wild rabbit stew to name but a few. The Bull also boasts the best Sunday lunch in the area with its famed Sunday Carvery.
With a fantastic selection of real ales, local ciders and fine wines The Bull at Benenden is a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike.
The main bar is centred on an inglenook fireplace with integral seats and roaring fires for the colder months, whereas summertime can be enjoyed in the enclosed secret garden or tables overlooking the cricket green. The Dining Room is available for private hire and is a popular venue for weddings and other celebrations.
Sympathetically renovated with unusual chinoiserie windows, wooden floors, and an eclectic array of comfortable antique furniture you can relax and enjoy the fabulous historic photographs that adorn the walls.
